I, Destinee Chambliss learned a lot during this class from writing, to editing, to recording stand-ups and many more. This practicum has taught me skills that I can put down on my resume for others to see. Here' a small example of  a few clips that I worked on throughout the semester this year.
There's still work that needs to be done and skills that I can still learn in order to perfect the ones I have before I go into my career field.

This practicum was a really great experience, and I will continue to pursue more opportunities that will allow me to perfect my skills and gain new techniques to become a future producer.
My future aspiration is to become an executive producer for multiple big time shows. I also want to have additional skill in writing, photography, and digital media. I also want to be able to explore and study abroad to get a global aspect of learning about communications and journalism.

Was The Presidential Election A Joke?

Cailyn Barnes and I went out to ask a couple students about their opinions on the Presidential Election, and not too many were happy. The race was tough and had a lot of people running in and out of the election polls so that the right person will be elected as the person for the job. Some opinions were straight to the point about Donald Trump, and most comments were directed to him and his reasoning for running as a President.  Most students took him as a joke and didn't really understand why a business man was running to be the President of the United States.

From all the racial comments and negative activity, Donald Trump still won the election from the electoral college. As of January 2017, President Elect Donald Trump will be getting inaugurated into the white house as the President of the United States. He has already started to make plans about his future goals as far as being the new President of the United States.

What Actually Happen?

15 years ago, there was a tragic accident in New York City. September 11, 2001 was a day that will forever be remember. A couple of students wanted to give their opinions about what they thought about what happen on 9/11. No matter the choice, you always have a voice and we will always remember those that lost their lives on September 11, 2001.
